Year 2 loved coming face-to-face with some rather exotic creatures in their Zoolab workshops. They learnt all about the different layers of the rainforest, the delicate ecosystem and how we can help to look after our environment.
Margaret Mee was a British botanical artist who specialised in plants from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. She was also one of the first environmentalists to draw attention to the impact of large-scale mining and deforestation on the Amazon Basin so who better for us to emulate?
