Wow what another amazing half term! This half term we focused on Human Growth and were very lucky to have Laurna, Miss Illingworth's mum, come to visit us. Laurna is a health care visitor and told us all about babies and how best to care for them. The children were very respectful of our visitor and asked some wonderful questions!

This half term, we transitioned into the KS1 playground during lunchtime. The children have loved playing and learning in the outdoor environment! The children have shown great teamwork to support their friends to concur our new outdoor equipment, while also demonstrating resilience by keeping on trying. It has been wonderful for the different classes to play with each other, build new friendships and for some pupils see their siblings!

We also celebrated World Book Day this half term! The children's costumes were amazing. During the day, our Reception went on their first school trip! We walked to the library. The children were incredible and ensured that they were Ready, Respectful and Safe during this.

We have ended the half term with an Easter Performance. The children were amazing! They spent lots of time rehearsing the Nursery Rhymes and making Easter headbands. We are so proud of our children.
