Our Big Question this term is Saxon vs Viking settlement - Who did it Better? This half term we have focused on the Anglo Saxons and we have been finding out why they came and settled in England as well as what life was like for them. We started the topic off with an Immersion Day where we enjoyed making Anglo Saxon helmets and designed our own Illuminated letters. It’s the Vikings after half term and we can’t wait to find out why they changed Eoforwic (the Anglo Saxon name for York) to Jorvik!
