We have been very busy this half term; we have focused on our topic of Amazing Animals. We have discussed how we can look after animals and why. How to live a healthy lifestyle and where our food comes from.

With the weather being cold, we decided to have an experiment. The children wanted to see if water could freeze, so we made signs to make sure no one would touch water and waited overnight. The children were amazed to see that it had in fact frozen. We discussed what ice felt like and how the water had frozen.

We have had a big emphasis on our virtues Resilience and Teamwork this half term. We have learnt that teamwork means to work together and help one another, and even if it's hard we need to show resilience by keeping on trying.

We have all enjoyed some amazing PE sessions in the hall - here we showed resilience by keeping on trying and our amazing listening skills in a much bigger space!

Finally we had a special visitor, Ruth, and her crocodile friend Dipsy! They came to tell us why it is so important to brush our teeth and show us how to do it. We have all worked so hard this half term and have managed to fit so much in - super job everyone!
