Since January 2021, our wraparound care provision, The Den, has been successfully running from the Portakabin on Year 5/6 playground. Unfortunately, the building is in poor condition and City of York Council have advised it is to be demolished during the summer holidays. Whilst this is disappointing news, we are excited to inform you that The Den will be relocated into the Children’s Centre from the week commencing 15th April.
The timings, staffing and structure of the sessions, that the children know and enjoy, will remain the same – they will just be located in a new space, which we are currently transforming.
From Monday 8th April, there will be a small increase in the fees. We understand a fee increase is never ideal but have put off raising our prices since January 2021, despite the financial challenges arising from increased costs. After Easter, the following charges will apply:
· Breakfast Club - 7:30am – 8:40am - £3.50 per session
· The Den - Session 1 - 3:00/3:15pm - 4:00 pm - £3.50
· The Den - Session 2 - 3:00/3:15pm - 5:30pm - £7.50
