Maths
All of our children are given daily opportunities to develop their skills in the following areas:
- Counting
- Understanding and using number
- Calculating simple addition and subtraction problems
- Describing shapes, space and measure
We follow the White Rose Maths, which helps children develop their conceptual understanding of mathematics by using concrete objects, pictorial representations and abstract thinking. This inclusive approach is based on the principles of cognitive psychology and child development.
