Venue Hire at Westfield Primary Community School
Welcome to Westfield Primary Community School. We view our school buildings and grounds as a community asset and strive to make them available for local use whenever possible. Our vision is to inspire a love for our community through teamwork and mutual respect.
Our Facilities
We offer a variety of versatile spaces suitable for educational, recreational, and community activities.
School Hall (Incl. Community Hub)
A spacious area featuring traditional parquet flooring and stage facilities. It is ideal for martial arts classes, theatre groups, and large community gatherings.
- Capacity & Features: Includes access to the Community Hub.
- Rate: £35 for up to 2 hours (£10 per additional hour).
The Den
A dedicated indoor space perfect for smaller groups or specialised workshops.
Rate: £30 for up to 2 hours (£10 per additional hour).
Community Hub
A flexible space designed for meetings and local group activities.
Rate: £25 for up to 2 hours (£5 per additional hour).
School Field
Our external sports field is available for outdoor activities and team sports.
Rate: £25 for up to 2 hours (£5 per additional hour).
Availability
Lettings are available during the following times (subject to school holiday variations):
Monday – Friday: 5:30pm to 9:00pm.
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am to 4:00pm.
School Holidays: 9:00am to 4:00pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
How to Book
- Initial Enquiry: Contact our School Business Manager to check availability.
- Application: Complete the Application for Hire Form which can be found in the Lettings Policy below.. You must specify the activity type, age group, and provide a designated Fire Marshall for your party.
- Insurance: All hirers must provide a copy of their own public liability insurance (minimum £5m cover).
- Confirmation: Booking is only confirmed once you receive a letter of confirmation and payment is received in full in advance.
Important Rules for Hirers
To ensure a safe environment for our pupils and the community, all hirers must adhere to our Rules of Hire:
Safeguarding: Hirers working with children must take reasonable steps to ensure their safety and may be asked to provide proof of safeguarding training.Footwear:
Smoke-Free Zone: The entire school site, including the grounds, is strictly non-smoking.
Prohibited Items: Alcohol, gambling activities, and animals (except assistance dogs) are not permitted on the premises.
First Aid: Hirers must provide their own First Aid equipment and have a qualified First Aider on duty during the let.
