A warm and heartfelt welcome to you and your child! We are absolutely delighted that you’ll be joining our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) this September.
Starting school is a truly special milestone. Our team is committed to making this transition a positive, reassuring, and joyful experience for your whole family. We can’t wait to meet our newest pupils and support them as they begin this incredible adventure.
Important Next Steps
To ensure a smooth start, please take note of the following dates and activities:
- Admission Forms: Please complete and return your forms by Friday, 22nd May. This helps us ensure everything is perfectly prepared for your child's first day.
- Transition Visits: Over the coming weeks, our Reception team will visit children in their current nurseries or settings. It’s a wonderful way for us to meet the children in a place where they already feel confident and relaxed.
- Stay and Play Session: * When: Thursday, 11th June | 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Where: Early Years Classrooms
- What: A relaxed "drop-in" session to meet the EYFS team, explore our indoor and outdoor play areas, and chat with our Family Learning Coordinator.
- Welcome Packs: You will receive your official Welcome Pack—full of all the "need-to-know" details—during the Stay and Play session.
Looking Ahead to July
In July, your child’s new class teacher will send a personal letter to introduce themselves. This letter will also confirm your child’s specific start date.
Note on Start Dates: To help everyone settle in gently, we use a staggered start. Your child will begin their journey on either the 9th, 10th, or 11th of September.
