Welcome Back
It has been great to see the children return and hear of their summer adventures. A special welcome to all our new families joining us this year – we are delighted you have joined our Westfield community.
Over the summer, we've been busy making some essential improvements to the school building. Our EYFS classrooms have been transformed into beautiful new learning spaces for our youngest pupils, and the Key Stage 1 hall has had some much-needed TLC.
Meanwhile, work continues in Key Stage 2 with brand new windows, heating systems, lighting, and flooring being installed. We are now in the final stretch, with all building works due to be complete by the end of September when our remaining six classes can return to the bottom corridor. As always, the children have embraced the changes and have settled well into their new learning spaces.
Year 6 arrived safely at Robinwood and, despite the rain, have trekked up the hill, devoured a big lunch and enjoyed their first activities. We will keep you posted on their adventures.
