This week, we have spent time learning about and reflecting on the significance of Remembrance Day. In Early Years and Key Stage 1, the children used their fine motor skills to create a variety of beautiful artwork. The children in Year 3 experimented with the ‘blotted line technique’ used by Andy Warhol whilst Year 4 used water paints and created silhouettes. The Year 5 and 6 children engaged in thoughtful discussions whilst exploring poems and later created their own verses. Have a read of the poem written by one of our Year 5s below.
