As you can imagine, it has been a little busy today even though we have been prepared for most eventualities. Thank you for your emails; we have responded to most queries and will answer any outstanding ones tomorrow.

At present, we have approximately 90 children attending school as their families are key workers. The children in school remain in year group bubbles. Children from each year group have formed new, smaller bubbles which they will be taught in for this half term.

Vulnerable Children

Our pastoral team have been identifying families who may need additional support at this time and our staff will be making calls throughout the day tomorrow.

Remote Learning

During the first lockdown, home learning was a new concept and not all families engaged. Guidance from the Department for Education has made it very clear that remote learning is not optional and primary aged children are expected to engage in the learning set by their teachers for a minimum of 3 hours per day. We have put a number of systems in place to ensure we can support you with remote learning so please don’t worry. Staff will be making daily contact with your children and we will be at the end of the phone to answer any of your questions. Our Remote Learning policy is available on our website:

If your family does not have a laptop, computer or tablet, please let us know and we may be able to lend you a ChromeBook subject to you signing a ChromeBook agreement. From Monday 11th January, all children in Year 2 – Year 6 will be expected to log on to a daily morning meeting with their teachers. Arrangements as follows:
