We are excited to let you know that Year 3 & 4 will be taking part in a special Roman Day at school on Monday 23rd March.
On this day, a visitor from the Murton Park team will be joining us, dressed in authentic Roman costume, to bring history to life. The children will enjoy an engaging talk using replica artefacts, with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion.
During the afternoon, pupils will rotate through a series of hands-on activities, including crafts, object handling, and practical tasks, giving them a real insight into life in Roman times.
To help make this exciting experience possible, we kindly ask for a voluntary donation of £2–£5, payable via ParentPay. Please can all contributions be made by Friday 13th March.
We are sure this will be a memorable and enriching experience for all of the children.
